Carrot Kheer is a unique sweet dish, made by boiling carrots in milk, flavored with saffron and garnished with pistachios and almonds. My mom used to make this for us.
Kheer is basically a pudding from the Indian Cuisine. It is served during a meal or as a dessert. It is also known as payasam, payasa and fereni. This kheer is perfect for parties or pot luck as you can make it in advance and chill in the refrigerator
